ready to plummet down
into everything we are
and everything we do?
follow the twisted staircase down...
but watch the ceilings,
they're really low at points.
it's a bit dark,
a bit tiresome at times.
not at all welcoming.
it's frightening even.
maybe even a bit dusty.
prone to cause allergic reactions to some.
don't be scared, though.
you're here for a reason.
how did you get here?
do you want to find us?
make us laugh.
say you actually care.
but remember, this is not about you.
you are just a bystander.
this is about us.
about finding out who we are
and where we have been,
under every countless facade
that we have ever put up.
if you are intrigued, read on.
if you aren't, don't start.
our words will swallow you whole,
if you let them...

p.s. if you feel compelled to insult us,
please keep this in mind
the worse you abuse us
the more we laugh.
and don't act at all surprised
if we post it on our blog,
so we can publically ridicule you.
